Cancellation Policy
The personal build is a one-time purchase, so there is no ongoing plan to cancel. This policy covers stopping the build itself, and what happens at each point.
This policy forms part of the Terms of Sale and Use and works alongside the Refund Policy. If there is any conflict between them, the Terms of Sale and Use control.
01There is nothing recurring
You pay once. There is no renewal, no recurring fee and no stored auto-charge on the personal build. Nothing will bill you again, so there is no subscription to remember to cancel.
02Cancelling before the intake call
Email nutrition@thestoicos.com any time before your intake call. The build is cancelled and refunded in full, no questions asked. See Section 01 of the Refund Policy.
03Cancelling after the build has started
Tell us in writing and we will stop where we are. What is refundable at that point depends on which stages were completed, and it is set out as a fixed schedule in Section 02 of the Refund Policy. We will send you an itemised breakdown of the stages completed alongside the refund.
You do not need a reason, and we will not ask for one.
04If we cannot reach you
If we have asked you for information or scheduling and hear nothing for 60 days, we will pause the build and email you. If there is still no response 30 days after that, the build is treated as cancelled at whatever stage it had reached, and the Refund Policy schedule applies from that date. You can restart at any time and we will pick up where we left off at no extra charge.
05At handover: the 14-day review
Handover is not the end of your options. You have 14 days from handover to check the build against your written scope and raise anything that does not match. This is the review described in Section 07 of the Terms of Sale and Use and Section 04 of the Refund Policy.
Inside that window the remedy is that we fix it. If we cannot deliver the agreed scope within a reasonable time after you have told us, a refund of the affected portion may be available. If you raise nothing within 14 days, the build is accepted.
06After the review window
Once the 14-day review has closed, there is nothing left to cancel. You keep your plan, your food database, your private link and your builder access, permanently, with nothing further to pay. The price is not refundable at that point except in the four situations listed in Section 06 of the Refund Policy.
07If we discontinue the system
We commit to keeping your plan and link available for at least five years from handover. If we ever decide to stop running the system, we will give you at least 90 days' written notice and a way to export your plan and food data in a usable format. If that happens inside the first five years, a pro-rated refund is available as set out in Section 06 of the Refund Policy and Section 08 of the Terms of Sale and Use.
08How to cancel
Email nutrition@thestoicos.com from the address on your order. We will confirm your cancellation in writing. If you do not receive a confirmation, assume it did not reach us and contact us again. Requests from an address other than the one on your order may not be accepted.
09Deleting your data
Cancelling and deleting your data are different things. If you would rather your information was removed, see the Privacy Policy. Deleting your data also ends your plan link, and that cannot be undone.
10Your legal rights
Nothing here limits any right you have under state or federal law that cannot be waived by agreement. Where a mandatory legal right conflicts with this policy, the law wins.
The version of this policy that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you bought.
